Today I want to address an elephant in the room.
“What if I don’t like it?”
This is a concern many business owners sometimes raise during their initial consultation call with me.
And I get it. I completely understand that investing in your brand and business growth can be scary. It’s a big decision, so it’s natural to feel a degree of anxiety about getting it right.
My answer to the question comes in two parts.
- The process I guide clients through is a highly collaborative process. We start with a deep dive into your brand, business, and goals. I know what questions to ask to draw out the kind of information that’ll make a real biggest difference to the end result of the project.
Then each step of the way you provide feedback on options such as the visual aesthetic, copy, photography, website elements, and more.
It’s important you’re 100% happy with the outcome, so we’ll work to refine anything that doesn’t quite feel right.
In saying that I will also provide you with my expert opinion, because often there’s a reason why something has been done in a particular way. - This leads me into the second part of my answer. It’s important to remember your ideal client in the process. Ultimately your brand and/or website is there to gain attention from, engage, and resonate with the people you want to work with. Yes, you must feel confident and proud to share your brand and website, but it must also be aligned to your ideal clients’ needs.
