A visual brand for Visual Hardware
I had given the Visual Hardware website a once over a year earlier and was really pleased when Russell approached me more recently to rebrand his business. Russell creates amazing sliding barn-style doors in a number of different colours and styles. Specifically, Russell wanted a main logo for Visual Hardware, the umbrella brand, with three sub-brands for his Urban, Classic & Aesthetic ranges.
We brainstormed together, honed in on his target market and created some clarity around who his brand is and the problems it solves for his audience. Russell wanted to see a logo mark that: made use of the V & H letters; incorporated an element that related to the product; had an element of transparency about it; and could be used for the three sub-brands.
Perhaps a daunting list of requirements, but I was up to the challenge!
